Having watched Mr Laurie play the Prince Regent in Black Adder for years, then as Bertie Wooster in Jeeves and Wooster, I almost lost interest in his ability to play anything but the typecast English aristocrat.

Ever wondered what happened to certain people who appeared on the screen for a bit, with the potential to go all the way and make it real big, but then just completely vanished ?

I recently went to see Polar Express in 3D at the Imax theatre near Waterloo station. The whole exprerience was well worthwhile. This format has a lot of potential as its definition alone is already a winner for movie lovers, and the 3D is definitely a bonus. Having said that, I do not think this format is suitable for all movies, and definitely it is evident in Polar Express that certain scenes were made with the specific purpose of showcasing the technology than is appropriate to the plot (not that I am complaining, as they were awesome !)
