Authentic Jewish cuisine on the Finchley Road. The very friendly proprietor did not seem to mind to much about what the cost of the meal should be. In fact, you pay what you think the meal is worth ! What a concept. A very homely atmosphere indeed.

The Ledger Building

A Grade II listed building, but that is not what makes it worth visiting. Ask any worker in Canary Wharf and they will tell you about this nicest watering hole in the area. The ambience is nice, the bar is long enough you never have to wait too long to be served, and most important of all, the food is excellent, with happy hours after 2:00pm, where you can order for two lunches and only pay for one. Such a polarity deserves an explanation. There is no doubt the food is first class (try the Singapore Fried Noodles, something you can not even get in Singapore ). The problem most people have is the service, which has a brand of its own. Do not expect to have your own table in the corner, where you want to sit next to the Fountain with the running water.
