River Cafe at Hammersmith Community

Rivercafe Jamie Oliver was discovered here.  Rose Gray and Ruth Rogers's approach to good food is by sourcing the best ingredient.  The menu is Italian and you may find yourself dining with a celebrity on the next table.

Kew Grill by Anthony Worrall Thomson at Kew Gardens Community

Kewgrill Another of AWT restaurants in London.  I am told that the burgers are to die for and all hand made by AWT himself with his secret spice mix in the dead of night to ward off any potential industrial spies. Check out AWT's open kitchen at www.awtonline.co.uk

The Original Maids of Honour Ltd at Kew Gardens Community

Maidsofhonour This is a beautiful coffee shop that serve these famous tarts called Maids of Honour, still made from the original recipe.  Legend has it that these tarts were made by Anne Boleyn for Henry VIII, who named them Maids of Honour after her.  The recipe is believed to have come from the Royal Kitchens at Hampton Court.  Now only this establishment still made them.  Arrive early as this place can get very busy...
