Belgo Centraal Restaurant at Covent Garden Community

Belgo I love Moules Mariniere, and what can be better than washing that down with a bottle of the finest cherry beer ? Try out Belgo, the famous Belgian Restaurant which serves the finest continental steak and kilos of mussels marinated in white wine. Belgian beers need no introduction for the connoisseurs, but a bucket of Hoegaarden will do fine for me, thank you. Not sure why the waiters all dress up as monks though.

Barbican Centre at Barbican Community

Barbican Theatre, art, dance, music, all under one roof. Try out the maze of Barbican Walk above the City of London too. For more information about the programme, check out www.barbican.org.uk

St Pancras YHA Hostel at King's Cross St. Pancras Community

Yha Accomodation on a budget.  Why not stay at the Youth Hostel, opposite St Pancras Station for as little as £17.50 per night for a single.

River Cafe at Hammersmith Community

Rivercafe Jamie Oliver was discovered here.  Rose Gray and Ruth Rogers's approach to good food is by sourcing the best ingredient.  The menu is Italian and you may find yourself dining with a celebrity on the next table.

Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club at Leicester Square Community

Ronniescott The atmosphere, the neon lights, and the fantastic mellow Jazz oozing out smoothly from this legendary Jazz Club. You can't smoke any more, but the music is still as great as ever. Check out the the performances and podcasts etc. at www.ronniescotts.co.uk
