There is a lot of excitement about the new range of Apple computers powered by Intel processors instead of IBM's PowerPC. There are indications that the first wave of Intel based Apple Macs will not have all the popular software titles ported to this architecture. It might be a good idea to wait for the whole line to stabilise a bit before taking the plunge. Like everyone else, I am waiting for that sub 2Kg notebook which is half the thickness of Windows laptops and twice as fast.
